Aneta Brzezicka

Psychologist. He studies broadly understood neuroplastic changes in populations of people exposed to variables modifying behavior or important cognitive functions (primarily working memory). Directs Center for Neurocognitive Research, in which he conducts research on the interactions between the brain, the gut microbiota and cognitive functioning, among others. It seeks to understand the electrophysiological underpinnings of memory phenomena by analyzing data derived from intracranial recordings in patients performing tasks involving short-term and working memory.

Member of the European DANA Alliance for the Brain (EDAB). Scholarship holder of the Kościuszko Foundation and the Foundation for Polish Science. Two-time winner of the luventus Plus program of MNiSW for outstanding young scientists. Author of numerous articles in prestigious scientific journals such as: “Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience”, “Frontiers in Psychology”, “Cognition and Emotion”.

Works in Laboratory of Systems Neuroscience, led by Dr. Ueli Rutishauser, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

At SWPS University, he conducts classes on the effectiveness of various forms of influence on cognitive functions, brain oscillations and seminars on cognitive training.
