
Bernadetta Izydorczyk
Prof. Bernadetta Izydorczyk, PhD, is a faculty member at the Institute of Psychology of the Faculty of Philosophy at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. She serves as the National Consultant in the field of Clinical Psychology. She is the Chair of the State Examination Commission of the Medical Examination Centre for specialization in clinical psychology and a member of the examination committees in psychosexology and in psychotherapy for children and adolescents.
She chairs the Expert Committee for the Recognition of Qualifications in Clinical Psychology at the Postgraduate Medical Education Center in Warsaw. She is a specialist in clinical psychology, a certified psychotherapist and psychotherapy supervisor, a psychodrama supervisor (delegate) of the Polish Psychodrama Institute and PAfE e.V., a supervisor in psychotraumatology, a supervisor in clinical psychology, a specialist in child and adolescent psychotherapy, a psychodrama therapist, and a trainer of the European Psychodrama Institute.
She is the substantive head of specialization training in clinical psychology, and currently the substantive head of specialization training in child and adolescent psychotherapy in the Silesian Voivodeship. She also serves as the Head of the Center for Education in Psychotherapy and Community Therapy at the Child and Family Health Center named after John Paul II in Sosnowiec.
Her research interests and scientific publications focus on clinical psychology, psychotherapy of mental disorders, and trauma work with adults, adolescents, and children. She has 40 years of professional experience in psychotherapy with adolescents and adults with mental disorders.
