
Katarzyna Growiec
Katarzyna Growiec is a postdoctoral fellow, professor at SWPS. Employee of the Department of Personality Psychology at SWPS University in Warsaw. Member of the Health & Coping Research Group at SWPS University. He directs the LONELY-EU (Horizon) project in Poland, funded by the European Commission. This project aims to provide policy makers with, among other things, a comprehensive assessment of the causes and consequences and socio-economic costs of loneliness and social isolation in each of the EU countries. Explores the personality determinants of social relationships.
She is a member of the European Association of Social Psychology, the Polish Association of Social Psychology, the International Network for Social Network Analysis, the Australian Centre on Quality of Life and the Polish Psychological Association. Has a PTP Psychosocial Skills Workshop Coach Recommendation.
She is the author of two books and numerous scientific and popular science articles. She has published in leading scientific journals in the field of social sciences such as PNAS — Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Nature Communications, Communications Psychology, European Journal of Personality, Social Networks, Social Indicators Research, Journal of Happiness Studies, Scientific Reports and European Societies.
