Mirosław Proppé

Since August 1, 2018, Mirosław Proppé has served as the head of the WWF Poland Foundation. He is responsible for overseeing the entire operation of the largest environmental foundation in Poland, which employs around 100 full-time staff members and runs volunteer programs engaging around 400 volunteers. Under his leadership, the Foundation has successfully developed and professionalized its operations. He led to public hearings of the KPO, creating a common front of NGOs with local governments and business associations. Mirosław is a guest lecturer in postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw and Lazarski University. He serves as a mentor in programs organized by BCG and WWF International and has previously been a juror in the Start-up and Science Grant Program by ING Bank Poland and a mentor in the 25Under25 McKinsey Poland program. He chaired the steering committee of the WWF Baltic Sea Program, served as the chairman of the supervisory board of PPUC Sp. z o.o., and as a member of the supervisory board of Euvic Solutions Sp. z o.o. From 2020 to 2023, he was the vice-chairman of the Supervisory Board of the WWF European Policy Office in Brussels. Since 1994 he was associated with KPMG. He holds a degree in economics from the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw (1997) and a postgraduate Executive Master of Public Administration from the Evans School of Public Affairs, University of Washington (2015).
