
Piotr Sorokowski
Piotr Sorokowski is a professor at the University of Wroclaw. He is one of the few psychologists worldwide specializing in research conducted among traditional societies in Africa, Papua, the Amazon, and remote Pacific Islands. As part of his research projects, he collaborates with scholars from a wide range of disciplines—including philology and philosophy, anthropology and the arts, as well as biology and medicine. His interdisciplinary research has been published, among others, in Nature and Nature Human Behaviour and has received over 10,000 citations, placing him among the top 2% most cited scientists worldwide according to the Ioannidis ranking (Stanford University). The results of his research have also been featured in international media outlets such as BBC, CNN, and The New York Times.
