
Sabina Toruńczyk-Ruiz
Social and environmental psychologist, assistant professor at the Psychology of Place and Social Change Lab at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Warsaw, and long-time collaborator of the Centre of Migration Research at the University of Warsaw. Her research focuses on the relationships people form with places – their psychological determinants and consequences for attitudes towards migrants, as well as for engagement in community life. Her research considers both the perspectives of local populations and migrants. She has completed research stays at the Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin für Sozialforschung and at the University of Utrecht. Currently a Board member of the Polish Social Psychological Society.
