
Tomasz Hanć
Prof. Tomasz Hanć – Doctor habilitatus in Biological Sciences, psychologist, and certified cognitivebehavioural psychotherapist. He works in the Institute of Human Biology and Evolution at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.
He has completed advanced training in Schema Therapy (ST), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT and FACT). He provides cognitivebehavioural therapy for children, adolescents, and adults, primarily using thirdwave CBT approaches, and conducts specialized trainings for psychotherapists within certification programs and in collaboration with psychotherapy schools.
He is the author of numerous scientific and popularscience articles, books, book chapters, and presentations at national and international conferences, focusing mainly on ADHD, obesity, stress and trauma, and evidencebased psychotherapy. His research explores the interactions between biological, psychological, and social factors in the context of human physical and psychological development and health.
He is a member of the Polish Society for Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy and the Polish Anthropological Society, as well as international associations such as the International Association for the Study of Human Growth and Clinical Auxology, the Auxological Society (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Auxologie), and the International Union of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences.
