
Tomasz Zaleśkiewicz
Tomasz Zaleskiewicz is a Full Professor of Psychology at SWPS University in Wroclaw, Poland, where he directs the Center for Research in Economic Behavior. He is also Past President of the Division of Economic Psychology within the International Association of Applied Psychology.
His research primarily focuses on decision-making under risk and economic psychology. Recently, he co-edited the book Psychological Perspectives of Financial Decision Making (Springer) with J. Traczyk, and co-authored Human Behaviour in Pandemics: Social and Psychological Determinants in a Global Health Crisis (Routledge) alongside M. Kossowska, N. Letki, and S. Wichary. His work has been published in top-tier journals such as PNAS, Cognition, Psychological Science, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Journal of Experimental Psychology, Applied Psychology, Journal of Economic Psychology, and more.
His research findings have garnered attention from international media outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, Time, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Harvard Business Review (USA edition), and BBC Radio 4.
