Adrian Wójcik

Dr Adrian Wójcik, Prof. NCU – a social and conservation psychologist, faculty member at the Institute of Psychology of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. His research focuses on the psychological barriers that prevent people from protecting the natural environment and how these barriers can be overcome. He also studies how scientific knowledge about ecology and related fields can be communicated effectively. He is a member of the editorial boards of the professional academic journals Global Environmental Psychology and the Journal of Environmental Psychology. Outside academic work, he collaborates with non-governmental organizations engaged in environmental protection.
