Ewelina Smoktunowicz

Psychologist and expert in the field of e-mental health and internet interventions. She designs and evaluates the effectiveness of internet interventions aimed at improving mental health and well-being among diverse user groups—from adolescents to adults balancing work and private life. In her research, she investigates the factors that motivate individuals to engage with internet interventions and to adhere to them.

She leads the StresLab: Centre for Stress Research and serves as the leader of the Polish team in the European SMILE project, which aims to enhance the well-being of adolescents and young adults across Europe. She is a recipient of the Minister of Science Scholarship for Outstanding Young Scientists and the Bekker Programme funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange. She is the author and co-author of internationally recognized publications and has secured research grants funded by the National Science Centre (NCN), the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR), and the European Commission.
