Psychological Interventions on the Internet
Description:
New technologies, from mobile apps and games, to virtual reality, to chatbots, are increasingly supporting psychological help and changing the way we care for mental health. Can online interventions make help more accessible and reduce the treatment gap? Can these types of solutions support not only people struggling with mental disorders, but also prevention and daily care for well-being? Can they be helpful not only individually but also for couples and communities? How do psychological Internet interventions come about and why is it so important that they are based on scientific evidence and reliably tested?
