
Janina Kulińska
Dr Janina Kulińska, PhD in Health Sciences, is a researcher and lecturer in the Department of Public Health at Wroclaw Medical University. She specialises in health communication, healthcare system branding and designing and implementing preventive health programmes.
She combines academic work with professional practice. She also works at a Regional Specialist Hospital, where she is Press Officer and Head of Communication and Public Relations. Her responsibilities include developing and implementing communication strategies, managing institutional reputation and media relations, and planning and delivering prevention and health promotion initiatives. She also supports research and development activities, participating in scientific projects conducted in a clinical environment.
She is leading a research project which focuses on the impact of communication formats on patients’ understanding of health information and behavioural intentions, including in the context of the digital transformation of healthcare. She has experience in designing and coordinating health campaigns within public health policy frameworks, as well as in developing communication strategies for healthcare institutions. Her projects have been presented internationally and recognised as best practice examples in health communication and social and environmental responsibility.
