Michał Pieniak
I work in the Department of Psychophysiology at the University of Wrocław. My research interests focus on the relationship between the sense of smell and human well-being. In my work, I examine the potential of olfactory training to support cognitive abilities, verify whether olfactory perception is altered in individuals with anxiety disorders, and investigate the potential use of body odor in the diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases. I developed my research skills during research internships at the Technical University of Dresden, Macqaurie University in Sydney, and Friedrich Schiller University in Jena.
