Przemysław Kazienko
Przemysław Kazienko, Ph.D. is a full professor and leader of three research groups: ImpactAI, HumaNLP, and Emognition at The Department of Artificial Intelligence, Wroclaw Tech (Wroclaw University of Science and Technology), Poland. The ImpactAI group (https://impactai-lab.com/) focuses on impact and consequences of AI on humans, responsible AI, AI overload, and more recently on educational programs for adolescents on dealing with manipulations. HumaNLP works on human aspects of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and LLMs, development of Polish Large Language Model (PLLuM), studies on subjectivity, personalization, context-based NLP, hate speech, emotions, user-controlled and responsible LLMs. Emognition (https://emotions.pwr.edu.pl/) concentrates on emotion recognition from physiological signals. He has authored over 300 research papers related to LLMs, personalization and subjective tasks in NLP, validation of LLMs, self-learning LLMs, hallucination, responsibility in AI, affective computing, social network analysis, deep machine learning, sentiment analysis, collaborative systems, recommender systems, information retrieval, data security, and many others. He gave 40+ keynote/invited talks to international audiences. Also, he initialized and led over 50 projects, including large European ones, chiefly in cooperation with companies with total local budget over €12M. He is an IEEE Senior Member, a member of the Polish Committee for Standardization in AI.
