Description:
Intelligence is a psychological term, but at the same time a word from colloquial language. As always in such cases, this raises a lot of misunderstanding about what intelligence is, how it relates to knowledge and experience, whether it is the same as creativity, how to measure it, and whether it is useful for something in life. A separate topic with high polemical potential is intergroup differences in intelligence, especially intersex and so-called interracial differences. Creativity, in turn, is understood in many ways, from the creativity of a child in kindergarten to brilliant creativity that changes the course of history. Here, too, reflection and analysis of reliable empirical data is needed.
