How Are Modern Families and Interpersonal Relationships Changing?
Description:
The modern family is undergoing a revolution - all around us we meet more and more singles, partnerships without marriage, patchwork families and people consciously giving up offspring. Is it a crisis of traditional values or natural evolution in response to changing socio-economic conditions? The panel explores how new forms of family life affect individuals' psychological well-being and social stability. Is flexibility in defining the family an opportunity to better match individual needs or the risk of losing important support functions? Research shows that the quality of relationships, not their form, determines happiness - but is society ready to fully accept this diversity?
