Arkadiusz Parker

Assistant at the Institute of Psychology of the University of Opole. Psychologist, educator and certified psychotherapist of the European Association for Psychotherapy. He works mainly with adults with personality difficulties, after experiencing trauma and psychosis. Founder and president of the PROMENADA Foundation in Opole, which supports people at risk of social exclusion, people experiencing discrimination, especially people from the LGBT+ community.

His scientific interests focus on psychotherapy, clinical psychology, phenomenology and existential issues. He is interested in attachment concepts (DMM model), directions of personality development in people with difficult childhood experiences, psychological thanatology and psychological mechanisms of self-destruction.
