
Dorota Szcześniak
Dorota Szcześniak, PhD, M.D., professor at UMW, is a psychologist and researcher associated with the Department of Psychiatry at the Medical University of Wrocław, where she works as a university professor. He currently leads the ENSURED team in the international JPND project. Her research activities focus on social and mental health. Author of more than 85 scientific publications, she actively participates in national and international research projects, combining approaches in the field of cognitive neuroscience, psychosocial care and implementation sciences. In her work, she develops evidence-based support models that take into account the social context and the real needs of patients and their loved ones.
He collaborates in interdisciplinary research teams in projects funded by, among others, the JPND program (NCN and NCBiR). She is a member of COST Action “Ethics in Dementia” and co-chair of the INTERDEM Social Health Taskforce, where she develops the concept of social health as a key dimension of mental health.
Co-editor of the book “Dialogue in Clinical Practice”, dedicated to the importance of communication in clinical work and the therapeutic relationship.
