Edyta Żemła

An Onet journalist specializing in military affairs. Author of several books, including "Armia w ruinie" (Army in Ruins), "Wojsko z tektury" (Cardboard Army), and the reportage "Zdradzeni" (Betrayed), which uncovered the behind-the-scenes of the high-profile Nangar Khel case. She was the editor-in-chief and creator of the portal polska-zbrojna.pl. She worked for the editorial teams of "Super Express", "Newsweek", and "Rzeczpospolita". She collaborates with the Reporters' Foundation, which brings together Polish investigative journalists. She has been nominated for numerous journalism awards, including the Andrzej Woyciechowski Award, the Grand Press Award, the Pen of Hope Award granted by Amnesty International, and the MediaTory Plebiscite – Student Journalism Award. She is a recipient of the Special Award for Małopolska Journalists. She was a war correspondent in Afghanistan.
