
Ignacy Święcicki
Since 2019, Head of the Digital Economy Team at the Polish Economic Institute, author of reports and studies on topics related to telecommunications, artificial intelligence, digital regulations, and the digitalization of the economy. Previously, he worked at the Ministry of Digital Affairs, where he dealt with European regulations in the telecommunications sector, including relations between OTT providers and telecommunications operators, and international roaming. He also participated in drafting regulatory impact assessments for new legal acts and guidelines for conducting impact assessments within the government's legislative process. He gained analytical experience at the demosEUROPA think tank – Centre for European Strategy. His research interests include the economic effects of legal regulations, the platform economy, and digital policies in the European Union.
