
Julia Karska
A physician and PhD candidate, she works daily with patients at the Psychiatry Clinic of Wrocław Medical University. Her research focuses on the impact of environmental and social factors on mental health. In her practice and in life, she observes how the quality of interpersonal relationships among young people is changing. She is fascinated by new forms of connection, parasocial relationships, and the distinction between loneliness and social isolation. She completed research internships at Erasmus MC in Rotterdam and University College Cork, is a recipient of the Early Career Psychiatrists scholarship from the European Psychiatric Association and the Hirszfeld Scholarship, and a member of the Academy of Young Scholars and Artists. She also co-organizes the Youth Town accompanying the Re_Mind congress.
