
Justyna Ziółkowska
Psychologist. She works at the Faculty of Psychology in Wrocław at SWPS University. She specializes in research on suicidal behaviours, using qualitative methods of data analysis. She is the co-author and co-editor of several monographs devoted to death and suicidal behaviours, including Suicide and the Self. A Discourse Analysis Approach to Self-Narratives of Suicide (2025), Discursive Constructions of the Suicidal Process (2020), and The Bloomsbury Handbook of the Language of Death and Dying (2026).
Beyond her academic work, she is actively engaged in public health initiatives. She is a member of the Working Group for Suicide and Depression Prevention at the Public Health Council of the Ministry of Health and an expert for the platform “Life Is Worth a Conversation”.
