
Łukasz Kaczmarek
Professor of psychology at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Editor-in-chief of the journal Journal of Happiness Studies (Springer Nature). Head of the Department of Social Psychology. Founder of the UAM Psychophysiology Laboratory: Positive Gaming & Streaming. He conducts experimental research in social psychophysiology on the benefits of experiencing positive emotions in various contexts, from intimate relationships to computer games. Author of over 100 publications, including in journals such as Emotion, Emotion Review, Computers in Human Behavior. His research has been included in the evidence base for the Bundestag's Digital Healthcare Act (Digitale-Versorgung-Gesetz, 2019) and the US Congress Act FY2021 National Defense Authorization Act (Sec. 581) on the use of digital interventions for the health and operational readiness of military personnel and their families. He collaborates with Stanford University.
