Adrian Wójcik
Social and environmental psychologist at the Institute of Psychology at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. His research focuses on the psychological barriers that prevent people from taking action to protect the natural environment and on ways to overcome them. He also seeks to understand how scientific knowledge — particularly in the field of ecology — can be communicated effectively. He is a member of the editorial boards of leading academic journals in environmental psychology, including Global Environmental Psychology and Journal of Environmental Psychology. In addition to his academic work, he collaborates with non-governmental organizations engaged in environmental protection.
