Ewelina Walendziak-Genco

Deputy Director at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, where she is responsible for strategic analyses, national science policy, and initiatives aimed at promoting science and strengthening its societal impact. She coordinates projects concerning, among other areas, evidence-informed public policy, the well-being of the academic community, equality, and the prevention of misconduct and other undesirable phenomena in higher education and science.

A humanities scholar by training, she was associated with academia for many years as a researcher and lecturer in Italian literature. She now draws on her academic experience in her work in public administration.
