Grzegorz Pochwatko

Psychologist and researcher, affiliated with the Institute of Psychology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IP PAN) for over 25 years, and the founder and head of the IP PAN Virtual Reality and Psychophysiology Lab. He specializes in studying human behavior, emotions, and well-being in complex, highly engaging environments where human experience intersects with technology and social context. As an educator and science communicator, he demonstrates how psychological tools can be used to investigate the profound (and often elusive) impact of aesthetic and cultural stimuli on the human psyche. In his work, he combines intuition and sensitivity with a scientific approach, hoping to shield public debate from pseudoscientific simplifications.
