Kazimierz Karolczak

Member of the Management Board, PZU SA

An experienced manager with many years of practice in managing large organizations in both public and private sectors, specializing in strategic management, human capital, and organizational transformations.

Since 2017, he has served as Chairman of the Management Board of the Upper Silesian and Zagłębie Metropolis, where he is responsible for overseeing a complex institutional structure and implementing projects of significant infrastructural and social importance.

He has experience in ownership supervision, developing and implementing management policies, and optimizing operational and HR processes. From 2013 to 2017, as Deputy Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship, his responsibilities included implementing programs funded by the European Union and overseeing organizational units, including the Voivodeship Labor Office.

In the private sector, as President and Management Board Member of GI Group, he co-founded one of Poland's largest HR services companies, responsible for organizational development, structural integration, and implementing international management standards.

Member of supervisory boards of capital companies. A graduate of the University of Silesia and completed management studies at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
