Lilianna Leń

Lilianna Leń, also known as Lila Len—artist, art mediator, educator, and photographer. She holds a Ph.D. in Fine Arts and is affiliated with the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, where she currently heads the Department of Art Mediation. In her artistic work, she often explores issues of perception differences resulting from sensory dysfunction. As an art mediator, she is interested in audience participation, the viewer's involvement in cultural phenomena, particularly the direct and indirect effects of active art reception, and methods for evaluating these phenomena. Within the scope of her research interests, she explores areas of participation in art by people with special needs, taking into account both tools for communicating about art and the experience of art itself.
