
Natalia Szwedowska
Sociologist and social researcher affiliated with the Trends Observatory for Culture at Kraków Festival Office. She conducts research on audiences, cultural participation, and socio-cultural change, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches with trend analysis and the design of solutions addressing contemporary cultural challenges.
In her work, she focuses on identifying audience needs and supporting organizations in making decisions based on data, research, and future scenarios. She combines research, evaluation, and project experience with a broad understanding of culture within wider social contexts.
As part of the “Culture on Prescription” project, she collaborates with Uniwersytet SWPS and Katowice Miasto Ogrodów, researching the relationship between cultural participation and the psychological well-being of young people. The project examines whether and how participation in cultural events can support emotional regulation, social relationships, and mental health among younger generations, as well as which forms of cultural participation are most meaningful and beneficial for young audiences.
