
Piotr Oleś
He is a personality psychologist who works at the SWPS University, Faculty of Psychology in Kraków. For 46 years, he was employed at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. His research focuses on personality changes and development during the life course, identity, the dialogical self, and optimal functioning. He was a “Master” grant winner from the Foundation for Polish Science and chairman of the Psychology Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences. In addition to numerous articles and chapters, he has published monographs, including “Introduction to Personality Psychology” (2009), “Psychology of the Adult” (2011), “Psychology of the Midlife Transition” (2013), and “Psychology and Anthropology” (2025). He has also worked for many years as a clinical psychologist.
