
Sławomir Pałka
Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Justice, judge. He graduated from law studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Wrocław. He began his professional career in the common courts, serving as an assessor, and subsequently as a judge of the District Court in Strzelin.
From 2006 to 2009, he was seconded to perform administrative duties at the Ministry of Justice – Department of Enforcement of Judgments and Probation. Among other things, he was involved in preparing regulations for the then-established Fund for Victims and Post-Penitentiary Assistance, which became the basis for the functioning of the Justice Fund. He also supervised the network of juvenile detention centers and shelters for minors, subordinate to the Ministry of Justice.
For two terms, he served as the president of the District Court in Oława. He adjudicated cases in the 2nd Criminal Division of the aforementioned Court and in the 4th Appellate Division of the Regional Court in Wrocław.
From 2014 to 2018, he was a member of the National Council of the Judiciary, including serving on its presidium and as deputy press spokesperson for the Council.
