Who’s at the Helm? Agency in the Face of Interpersonal Difficulties in the Classroom

The aim of the workshop is to find room for a sense of agency in bullying situations – from the perspective of the person experiencing it, the bystander, and the group leader alike. Together, we will confront the sense of helplessness that accompanies peer crises and the belief that "nothing can be done." We will show that agency does not mean fighting a lonely battle, but rather looking for concrete steps that increase safety and provide a real impact on the situation.

During the session, participants will learn to find their own "sphere of influence" and make small but significant decisions that can alter the course of events. The workshop aims to reinforce the belief that stopping violence is possible – not through individual heroism, but through conscious, collective action in which everyone has an important role to play.
