
Gabriela Tencza-Powierża
Music therapist and teacher. She works in kindergartens and schools in Wrocław and the surrounding area, conducting music therapy, music enrichment, logorhythmic classes, and Social Skills Training (SST). She also collaborates with the Department of Music Therapy at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, where she teaches music therapy courses to master's degree students. She is the co-author of the website Dotyk Muzyki, which promotes knowledge related to music therapy and music education. She is the author of scientific articles and the originator of the first music therapy application for children with visual impairments, Muzyczny GPS (“Musical GPS”). She regularly participates in conferences on music therapy, psychology, and pedagogy. Her professional interests include the use of music therapy in work with children with developmental difficulties, in oncological care, and in the prevention of professional burnout.
