When Silence Isn't Enough - Music Therapy in Preventing Professional Burnout Among Teachers
Description:
The workshop will focus on using music therapy techniques to prevent professional burnout among teachers. The session will be interactive and divided into a brief theoretical introduction and a practical part. The first part will cover fundamental issues related to stress, professional burnout in teaching, and the mechanisms by which music can reduce tension and regulate emotions. In the workshop part, participants will engage in simple music therapy exercises, such as relaxation with music, mindful listening, and communal music-making. The aim of the workshop is to demonstrate how short musical interventions can support psychological well-being and serve as a practical tool for stress prevention in teachers' daily work.
