
Sławomir Starzyński
An officer in the Polish Army. A graduate of the Jarosław Dąbrowski Military University of Technology in Warsaw, Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz, and the postgraduate program in Advertising and Promotion at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Since 2001, his professional activities have been closely linked to military psychological operations.
He is a graduate of numerous national and international courses in the fields of Psychological Operations (PSYOPS), Information Operations (INFOOPS), and Strategic Communications (STRATCOM). He completed a six-month qualification course for U.S. Army Psychological Operations officers at the U.S. Army J.F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School in Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
He commanded Psychological Operations Groups during military missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. He served on the staff of NATO’s Allied Joint Force Command in the Netherlands as a PSYOPS Current Operations Officer. He supported the NATO School in Oberammergau, Germany, as a PSYOPS lecturer.
Colonel Sławomir Starzyński an author of numerous systemic solutions in the field of Polish Psychological Operations, in the areas of: structural and organizational changes, education and specialized trainings, as well as the implementation of new analytical methods and processes for creating persuasive messages. Since 2020, the Commander of the King Stefan Batory Central Psychological Operations Group in Bydgoszcz.
