Can a pill or injection replace strong will and healthy habits? In the era of drugs like Ozempic, weight loss ceases to be exclusively a matter of diet and exercise and becomes, above all, the object of medical intervention, generating even a black market for this type of medication. Although GLP-1 preparations can significantly reduce appetite and support weight reduction, their use raises questions about the durability of effects, side effects, psychological consequences and ethical limits of such interventions. At the same time, it is undeniable that these drugs represent an opportunity for many people for whom weight regulation has otherwise proved ineffective.
